I am thinking of buying this model, but was wondering what the fuel consumption is, i had the 2.3.quattro and only got a return of 25 M.P.G.
hope you can help

I had one and it did about 25-28 the only problem i ever had with it was coil failure

Is it manual or automatic? I had an A4 2.8 Quattro (1999 30-valve model with 193 bhp) with the Tiptronic auto. It ranged from a round town low of 17mpg to a 70mph motoray cruise high of 31mpg.

thanks for the replies, just missed it, have had to buy Audi 80 1.9 tdi as a stop gap. hope these are reliable, only 71000 on the clock
