Parcel shelf colours

I've been trying to find a black parcel shelf for my 94 coupe with noo luck so far, I've filled out all the parts requests forms for 247spares.com and partsfinder.co.uk etc. But I have found a couple of light grey ones, does anyone reckon it would be reasonable to dye a grey parcel shelf black to match the rest of the trim?

have you tried the S2 forum allot of coupes on there some one might be able to help you out?

The type of material it is made of you would warp it trying to dye it
