80 tdi avant - engine change ?

I have got two 80 avant tdi both of which I love, my older one has been lowered and has 17" wheels and looks great, it has also been chipped sometime in the past but I want more ! Does anyone know if it is possible to chuck a PD130 engine into the bay in place of the original motor, I will obviuosly then chip the130 up to 165, ye ha! Bye the way my standard 80 avant tdi is up for sale if anyone is interested, only mod is a set of 17" wheels. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/groovy.gif

I think it should fit ok, but you would probably need to use the ECU from the pd, I think you would then need the ignition barrel and instrument cluster to go with it, to keep the immobiliser happy.
Also the exhaust and intercooler would probably need upgrading to suit.

Thanks mate, more trouble than it is worth by the sound of it, know anyone who might take it on ? It probably seems a bit of a waste of time but I love the 80 shape far more then the A4 ( excluding B7 )
