can you help with this, just picked up a 1994 TDI, cant see the intercooler, yet it says its supposed to have one according to the net. do all TDI's have intercoolers ???

i suspect it depends on the engines output.
Some are (iirc) 75hp and some are 90hp. Dont think the 80 got the 110hp version, but you probably find 75hp isnt intercooled and 90hp is.
