Right Guys and Girls,

Here it is the next Remap and Rolling Road Day.

When - Saturday 28th February

Where - Chipped UK, Bromsgrove http://www.chippeduk.com/how-to-find-us.php

How Much - £250 with Before and After Runs on the rollers.

£35 for Rolling road power runs only

We are now able to Map the 1.4tsi, 1.8Tfsi and 143hp 2.0Tdi, but due to costings these may cost slightly more.

on my racediagnostics liquid s3
my s3 seems to be max boost 1.5 bar
and my bhp is 255
how accurate do you think that is?

If it's the 210hp standard I would say that's pretty accurate.

but mines a 225 bam?

Depends how they tuned it. 30hp is quite a low gain for a 225, but at the same time if there are any issues with your car then this would cause it to be down on power. If you come for a run on the 28th we'll take a look. You might find you get more power, plus a remap can take a few miles before you get the full effect.

do you think i can get 280 if you turn the boost up to 2bar?

when you plug it on to your pc can you see what program is on it?

280hp is pushing it a bit on a standard 225, what you have to remember is a remap doesn't just up the boost on the Turbo, 2bar is 29psi, I wouldn't like to say how long to KO4 would last boosting that high. We normally only boost about 22psi and get 270hp. Might be easier if you come along on the day and se what we can do for you.

You are looking around 40hp 80nm torque for a middle of the road map, we can go less or stronger depending on what you are after.

If you are after a venue by the way down South, Surrey Rolling Road have a very good reputation on the Supra forum. Money's a bit tight with me now with baby on the way but you might get a fair turnout with a venue down south...

If you need further details PM me and I'll send them through, just thought it might open up a few more customers for you...

I have spoken to Surrey Rolling road and this is definately in the pipe line.

Also we are looking at doing a meet at Ace Cafe and bringing quite a few forums together for the day, seeing if we can get a mobile rolling road down etc. That will be in the summer.

Depends what level of tuning you went for, 40hp and 70nm is average on these with a KO3, KO3s can get 55hp 90nm this is a strong map though.

I have just bought well in the process of buying an A3 that has supposedly been chipped.

If i come along can i get it RR'd for the £35 and then if decide the map could be better could we deduct that power run from the £250 mapping cost?

How much notice do you need for this?

Pretty keen but need to check with finances etc before confirm.

Yes we would, what year is the car? As long as it's not one of the new ECU types it will be £250.

The car is a BMW 1 series 123d (2.0 diesel twin turbo)

I have no idea about the ecu...

What gains can expected from a 3.0TDI A6?

Idleally I'd like a little bit more torque and increase in MPG. Is it seriously possible?!

while were on the what if's, how much power can be found from a Leon Cupra - 240ps one ?

We've seen gains of 45-50hp and 100nm and still getting an extra 5mpg. But obviously depends on how you drive.

A sudden change of heart - have gone down the St3 route. Thank you sure i will pop down on day anyway to see what happens on the day ...the drive will no doubt be enjoyable :-)

h mark i had my car chipped by you last april is it poss for a chip to fail as iv lost a bit of power nothing cooming up when i scan for faults,

The only way you can loose a map is if it is over written. I would say it could be your MAF, as these don't show up any errors when they are on their way out.

iv changed the maf it made no diff you can feel the cars power is coming on and off maybe il pop back up for a run on the rollers

Have you checked Spark plugs, leads, and coil packs. Is it in the higher end of the rev range you are having issues.

By all means come for a run on the rollers and we'll see what we can work out for you. Bring your previous print out so we can compare.

im going to change the coil packs, plugs look ok, its throug the whole range.

If you use your Sat Nav it will probably take you into the wrong units, if you come to unit 33 an it doesn't say Chipped UK you're at the wrong place. You need to carry on down the last road you turned left into and follow it round to the left and you'll find us.
