It's getting nearer the time, I have spoken to AutoMetrix Publications who write VW Driver and Audi Driver Magazines and they shall be attending. So make sure your motors are nice and shiney as they may appear in one or both of the mags.

Also if the Admins/Mods want to come down with Forum banners etc then feel welcome.

If you want to attend and are not worried about going on the rolling road then please let me know. You may be able to get on the rollers, but worst case scenario is you are going away with a custom remap for £250.

What gains do you get for the 1.8T (190) FWD ?

I got 231 from my 1.8T quattro thou

206 from my ko3 map with the k04 fitted and 207 with a k04 file ??? WTF

Allegdedly its my gearbox showing extra load,but surley that wouldnt affect the so called flywheel fugure?
so in all, Mark is a great guy, but i spent 13 hours hanging around for -1 bhp,lol

Hummm £250 for 1bhp think i would cry

i had an extra 40 bhp but my car did have probs with some realy bad plugs dodgy dump valve leaking and to much hot air going through the k&n air filter, it was only pushing 136 to start with boosting on 8 psi lol, with the chip its up to 175 bhp and 12 psi but since iv put the air box on and new plugs its up to 14 psi, so all is good big thanks to mark and the guys at chiped uk for the work and advice, top guys

In fairness because this is my 3rd visit the remap was FOC to be sure that it suited the new engine, but somehow i have lost power. i had 142 at the start with the original turbo then they mapped to 199 (1) then i went back with my new K04-15 turbo fitted for a custom tune ,started at 206 but then she either whellspan or clutch slipped so no after figure (2) and this time was just for the power run but the chipped uk guys wanted to be sure it was ok for the new engine so kinda threw it in as i had visited twice already.

However i am sure the results should be around 230/240 so i am dissapointed to see that i lost power from the 2nd vist before the custom tune.Jayson said it was my gearbox loading it up as it is noisy and faulty, but surley the RR takes drivetrain losses into account anyway ?

First of all a big thankyou to Mark and the rest of the lads for the day.

That guy with the A8 had his problems with the auto box and it ate into the day so what time did you guys all finish?
Wished I'd run mine on the rollers now but i had to head off, gutted . On the flipside though my Blue 1.8TQ runs like a dream, ive been driving it like i stole it today couldn't stop laughing...............

Does anyone know what figure the guy with the silver 1.8T quattro avant got just to give me an idea as ours i think were similar spec?

As for you Mark (Byzan A4), we'll have another go at your next time (FOC of course), just a shame about the gearbox. You can hear on the rollers it's a strong car, but just a few bits of late have let it down, we'll get there with it buddy.

Yeah we're looking at August, June's was just going to Print, July's will the the GTi international Special and he said we should be in the August edition.

Anything coming up before GTi international mark? I am gonna whack mine down the strip for ****s and giggles, and would like it to be as good s it could be
