Right Guys and Girls,

It's been a while since I've been on here and a lot of you have been asking me about the next remap day (appologies it's taken so long). The date is a little later than we would have liked but here's it is, the next Remap and Rolling Road Day @ Viezu Bromsgrove.

When - Saturday 9th October 2010

Where - Viezu Bromsgrove, Bromsgrove (Previously Chipped UK) http://www.chippeduk.com/content/en/Contact_Us.html

The format!

It works on a first come first served basis. We start at 8am and if you want to be one of the first on I suggest getting there no later that 7:30am.

How Much -

£250 with Before and After runs on the rollers*

£30 for Rolling road power runs only

*Maps for the 1.4tsi, 1.8Tfsi and 143hp 2.0Tdi (i.e. EDC17 and MED17 ECU's) will be slightly more due to higher costings.

Just to give you an idea of how popular this is proving to be (probably beacuse it's been a while since the last one.)

I have 6 confirm so far and lots of other enquiries and it's only been up for 2 days.

So, please book early to avoid disappointment.

SUPRISE... I now drive an Audi!! Sign me up as always - I've chopped the R36 in for an RS4 (and the W8 is up for sale!! OH MY GOD!!).

I've been running three for a while (Range Rover Sport, Passat R36, Passat W8).. so this would have been four. It is my aim however, to get down to two in an attempt to keep my insurance and road tax bills down!!

The R36 has gone, and the W8 is up for sale. I hope to be left with just the RS4 and Range Rover Sport, two entirely different vehicles.

Out of interest... did Viezu ever get the simulated 1/4 mile function working on those rollers?

I'll need to check this one out mate, I think so, the rollers were so new last time we were unable to do this.

damn i signed for this but i wanna go to Audi Drivers International which is on the same day. hmm i may be able to do both if i get there early enough.

to be honest mate other people have got things on as well, personally i've got to get back for my wifes birthday or she'll kill me so aiming to be there fairly early.

lol ok mate well u can get first dibs then anyway as Im gonna have to be a knob n cancel the original date was perfect but now i cant go as i need to get to ADI for 8am and this is when the remaps start. Hi Guys,

Would suggest you get there about 7:30am if you want to be on first, anything after 8am and you're likely to have a wait on your hands.

Also please check out this (crude) map as SAT-NAV will more than likely take you to the wrong place.

THE REMAP DAY IS NOW FULL.

You are more than welcome to come along and have a remap without the rolling road runs or even just to see what it's all about.

Forgot to ask Mark, are there any other preparations required for running on the rolling road? obvious ones i thought of:

Oil level!
Water
Well Charged Battery
Higher tyre pressure (due to 2 contact points on rollers?)

What points on the car do you need for strapping down?

All the above, tyre presure need just to be normal, and strapping points are all under the car.
