Hi there
I'd like to fit my DAB Highway unit into the glovebox. The power lead uses a cigar lighter type adapter which i don't want to use in the fitted one as it sticks up too far.
Could I fit another one of these cigar type sockets somewhere in the glove box area, and where would be the best and easiest place to draw power from?
Thanks for any advice.

Hello buddy, what's the power rating of the unit? Should be available on the user guide or maybe on the data sticker on the unit?

It draws 0.5a at 12-24v supply

Fit is sorted now
Took live from headunit and earth to car chassis
Fed wiring through glove box and only had to open out one access hole slightly for aeriel lead
Now have clear DAB radio in car

Planet rock on demand ha ha

Well played. 0.5 amps is MUCHO for a radio. That must be fuse rating?
