Looks a bit like the one fitted to a mates mkv Golf. The big screen is not for sat nav if you look down both sides of it they are buttons which are for selecting your preferred radio station.
Certainly not from an Audi, as Highlander said above it looks like its from a GolfV, the style of the circular knobs at the bottom ties in with the Golf aircon controls.
Hard to believe that they have the original box as it would say vw all over it. My guess is a combined Audi/VW dealer was sending it back for repair and used the best sized box they could find (and it happened to say Audi all over it). I expect it got 'lost' on its way back to VAG.

I love the detailed description. "Will fit any Audi car", slightly misleading even if it was an Audi part.
