Hey i currently have this set up in my car

its a audi a3 2006

I see the CD player is single din is there any way of changing it so i can fit the audi sat nav or a double din?
if not, could i just buy the 6 cd multichanger and easily fit? as i curently dont have one.
what would you reccomend?

You could actually do both. Conversion from single to double DIN in an A3 is fairly straight forward, but some work is required for trimming the heater controls down to fit. Quite a few new parts, double DIN cage, switches, trim etc.

Then for the 6 CD you would require a new glovebox, CD changer and cable.

how will i trim the heater controls they will have to be half the size? :(

no you trim the sides down so it can fit in lower down to allow for the double din stereo

dang that sounds quite scary couldnt i just buy them already trimmed?

yes you can but that costs money, its a simple job, plenty do it, have a search, should find a few threads on it

Holy thread resurrection Batman - any of you kind folk care to elaborate, or post a link to a useful place for part numbers etc?

Thanks
Stan ;) :icon thumright:
