The pipe to the rear wash wipe on my 2006 A6 2.7TDI S line has leaked over the Bose amp & sat nav DVD system. The Audi dealers are telling me that it all needs replacing , at a cost of £2500 :sorry:. Does anyone know if the components can be repaired . If I do have to replace the system , would it be worth upgrading. I would at least want an I-pod connection.

You can pick them up far cheaper on fleabay or other sites. Expect to pay a few hundred euros for a BOSE amp and from 200-500 for the DVD nav.

The amp will have to be unlocked by the dealer when fitted, probably be a small fee as it takes a few minutes.

Ipod interface for the A6 can be had for around £380 fitted for the genuine Audi system and slightly cheaper for 3rd party.
