How easy 2 remove front speakers?

Can anybody tell me how easy it is to replace front speakers on a 80/90 cabriolet and also what should i replace them with???? i know they seam to "blow" very easy also possibly lookin to replace head unit idealy wanting a multi changer and in a ideal world i would like PIONEER as i think there units seam to give a great noise ,
budget is £500 max any sujestions would be much appreciated thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif
