Audi A4 saloon (B7) stereo specs

Hello,
I have an Audi A4 B7 saloon with a concert stereo none Bose system.
I am just wondering what the specs are for the system, i.e what size are the speakers size of sub and where and what type of amp it is. Also ive heard there is another speaker on top of the dashboard, whats that for. Do they better with an aftermarket head unit?

The HU powers the fronts and the centre speaker (in the dash) with 2 x 20w and the rears & sub are powered by a separate amp in the boot 2 x 20w and 1 x 50w for the sub. All the speakers are 6.5" with a 1" tweeter. First thing you should do is pull the HU and disconnect the centre speaker as it's tuned for voice and thus very middlely, same frequencies as a baby crying. You'll see the feed to the dash speaker, they are the 2 very skinny wires bridged across the 2 main front speaker connections on the brown plug. Just snip one of them. If in doubt then just cover up the dash speaker with an A-Z or similar to experience the difference.
