Concert with Bose to Concert 2

I am under the impression that i will be able to do a straight swap from my Concert HU with cassette to a concert2. I am not bothered about the Bose seetings as it seems that there is a better sound without it.

is there anything i will need to do when swapping them over other than a straight plug and play?

Oh, I know about the new CAN bus adaptor and having to switch it on every hour will not bother me in the slightest. (i am very rarely in the car for that long anyway)

by the way, i have an Audi S3 8L 2000

Should be straight plug & play although as well as the turn on/off issue you'll also lose the "vital" DIS feed!
The Bose settings are dictated by the wiring not any programming via VAGCOM

Im sure i can deal without the DIS. afterall i can just look at the HU. the LED's on my screen are knackered anyway.
