Anybody know if I can get a facia adapter for a 2001 A3TS with a symphony HU?

I found this:
http://www.caraudiodiscount.com/acatalog/Product_Audi_162.html

But would like one which does cost £40 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jawdrop.gif

Is it possible to get one from an A6 or something and trim it to fit? I'd love to replace the HU with something else maybe a Becker to get a better sound.

Just to let people know, I went to my local audio dealer, John Kleis in Reading, and they can sell my the same facia for only £15. Doesn't look to bad either looks like it will be a good fit, and reasonable colour match.
Now just need to decide on a HU

I have used Halfords before - they will order in Autoleads products to suit and do not charge del. and parts are cheaper than most Car Hi-fi shops.

I have since been told that Audi have the best fitting facia and are very resasonably priced. Try you local Audi dealer you could be supprised.

Good Luck

You mean like this Andymac? they should sit flush right??

im sure we dont sell facia adapters for twin din stereos(symphony II) is twin din and i have never seen one converted best bet is to try a car audio specialist!!

Joe, yeah that looks like the stylish Autoleads quality product, and that's probably after some frantic trimming and filing. £10 for that? You'd be better off just stuffing some licorice all sorts in there.
