Radio randomly turns off and back on again??????

Hi,

My friend has a 8L TDI Quattro with the 6 disc double din head unit in the dash. The radio has started to turn itself off then straight back on again for no apparent reason. Driving back from a show today it was doing this every minute or so which got very annoying.

Can anyone offer some ideas as to what may be causing this.

Chances are its a power problem. Take the head unit out, and check the wires.

Have you midified the cars suspension? if so, it may be causing un-nessesary vibration....
