Rear speaker wires?

My first post and I'm already asking for help... :sorry:

I have just fitted a Alpine stereo to a 1998 A4 Avant Quattro Sport.

But on the plug for the speakers it only has wires for the front? any ideas which ones I need to connect for the rears?

The rears are separately amped, you need to either run new cable from the HU directly to the speakers or pick up the feed from the amp. Alternatively you can buy an adapter that will allow you to plug the rear RCA cable from your Alpine into the feed to the rear amp. However the rears will be very underpowered as they are only 2 x 20w from the rear amp whereas the fronts running off the Alpine will be over twice the power.

So running some new speaker wire form speakers to headunit is the best idea?
 
Yes otherwise you compromise the excellent Alpine source by running it through a ****** little Nokia amp.
