MKI9200 fitment, no rear speakers

Hi guys, as the title suggests I have bought a MKI9200 to replace my denison gateway 100 and 3200 parrot bluetooth kit.... plugged it all in got it all wired up and only the fronts work....from what i have read i gather the rears are powered by a mini amp in the boot (non bose)....how would i get these backs working with the ipod through the mki9200.... is it a simple solution or a silly stupid one like i think its going to be....any help is good help )

worth mentioning that i have a symphony II HU none Bose..... im also concerned that the parrot seems to control the volume....will this compromise my already crap system?

im now considering putting the other equipment back in, downside is the 9200 fits soo much better than the 3200 kit and i cant see playlist info from the denison.....
