hi, i have a ck-7w fitted to my 8L S3 via a autoleads mute module.
Problem is i get background noise/interference when using the kit and also through the cd player but not the radio strangely.
My question(s) is can i bin the mute module and just wire it to the HU with the mute and tel+/- wire? and will this work as before ie muting the hu etc... Is it likely to be the mute module causing the noise? is there an earth i might have missed or should it all be earthed by the plug connectors to the HU. Do i need to connect a suppressor into the system somewhere?
