How do i know if my stereo is bose amplified?

Guys I have changed my HU to an aftermarket Kenwood.

I have no stereo handbook so not sure if my S3 (2000) has a bose amp.

It was a concert i removed.

Have a look in the boot, the Bose system has an amp in the drivers side cubbyhole in the boot. Also the tupperware sub on the passenger side will have 2 x 4" drivers in it with a black front, whereas the non Bose has a single 6.5" driver and a metal front.
Alternatively if the sound is very rumbly and the bass & treble have almost no effect, then it's a Bose system!

not sure if they have it on the S3, but shouldn't allt eh speaker grills have a tiny bose logo on each one?

Not necessarily, some do, some don't
