Ipod kit with Symphony 2 radio

Can anyone tell me if the Ipod kit that Vw/Audi sell that will work with the bora/golf etc etc will work with the symphony2 radio? (mines a non mp3 one in a 2005 B7 with the sub but not BOSE)
