fitting amp where bose sub is

Anyone tried removing the Bose subwoofer for an 8L A3, and installing an amplifier there instead?

The space looks pretty tight, so I'd be grateful if anyone has any advice.

You'd be better off installing it behind the rear speaker panel, there's loads of room there.

Thanks Andy.

I don't want to install it there, because I still want access to the amp controls. However, I've been advised by a local audio shop that the Sony XM-1S fits in there.

So will try to get one of them cheap.
