rns-e loudness - how can iturn it off?

i know it can be turned off temporarily in engineering mode, but its always back on by default each time i start the car or restart the rns-e, and i know that most of the other options in the audi part 3 bit of engineering mode are changeable with coding or settings, but i would like to permanently disable the 'loudness' function

anyone know if/how this can be done?

Just turn the volume for the navigation down as low as it will go in sound set up.

turning the navigation volume turns off the 'loudness' function?? sounds very odd worth a try, thanks

when the volume is low, the 'loudness' function turns up the bass and trebble, and this effect is gradually reduced as the volume goes up - its supposed to compensate for the ears poorer sensitivity to bass/trebble at low volumes

unfortunately it seems to be only accessible from engineering mode and temporarily disableable - and turning the sat volume down does not switch it off
