A3 8P RNS-E Software versions

I recently stumbled on a software update for download which is quoted as being 0650 and offering the following changes -

New features in SW 0650 are:

1) altimeter (like MMI)
2) no 400 files limit on SD cards
3) more sound settings (bass, highs, middle)
4) navi announcement from both speaker (left/right)
5) title scrolling in the DIS

According to my unit info it is already at 0650 but my nav sound is definately only through the left speaker, I've not found an altimeter and I've not tried the other functions yet.

So my question is what SW versions are you using (although I suspect a lot of you are using the SDS firmware) and do you have any of the above functions.

Are there any pitfalls with a firmware upgrade? I seem to remember you can use VCDS to adapt a channel and allow a downgrade if necessary.
