Further to a question from Wellhouse some time ago, does anyone have experience of Poket custom door builds for A4 B5 front doors - these cost £175 per pair, but would enable 6.5inch speakers to be fitted - would they be "solid" enough to be worth the money, if used with dynamat or similar?Or do you think 5.25inch (decent make like diamond or rainbow)in existing door cards would suffice?One more (daft?) question - does anybody fancy making some builds for the B5?

my honest opinion is you need to do both to get any kind of decent sound from them
if the door build are auto acoustics or jehnert id actually advise going to see a specialist such as souce in sheffield whom will custom make the door pods to fit both the speaker and the doorcard
it wont be cheap but it will be a very very worthwhile upgrade

Thanks for the reply, but not 100% certain what you mean - you say if auto acoustics or jehnert - do you mean buy them then take to Source to fit properly or are you saying they are not worth getting and just ask Source to make new custom builds?
yes id advice going to see a specialist and having them build the cards and trim from scratch
