Audi handsfree work with iPhone?

Just waiting on my '06 Audi A4 coming and was wondering if anybody knows how to make the handsfree connect with an iPhone?

I presume its the OEM kit as it is concealed in the armrest but it is obviously set up for connecting a Nokia.

Is there any way of connecting an iPhone to it by replacing the cradle in the armrest or should the cradle be replaced with a bluetooth cradle?

Any help would be appreciated

Just found out that it has the Audi handsfree kit that has combined bluetooth.

Is this still compatible with an iPhone?

In general yes, although some people have reported issues with contact transfers.

Audi offer a cradle for the armrest for iPhone IIRC.

I have my iPhone 3G (v2.1) fully working over Bluetooth on my 2006 A4 Cab without using a cradle (although i have the wiring in the armrest)

Also the Iphone cradle is bluetooth, ie it only charges the phone and links to the external antenna. The connection to the phone system is via bluetooth.
