USA stereos work in the UK????

Hi

Does anyone know for a fact whether a US Symphony would work on all UK radio stations?

The UK frequency range runs from 87.5 to 108 mhz.
The US frequency range runs from 87.9 to 107.9mhz.
Which seems pretty similar but I think they step at different frequencies.

I have a US head unit and it's all good except, the radio jumps in .2 so it goes 102.1, 102.3, 102.5, 102.7 - i cant get 102.6 (local radio station).
