Concert volume knob problem

Mate of mine has just got an A4 avant with the Concert radio and CD changer. When you try and turn the volume down it goes to full volume???

Any ideas or is it new deck time?

It's a common problem, loads of threads about it, and it's either an Ebay one which may have the same problem, or develop it soon, or get an aftermarket HU...

I think there may have been one where someone had found a company that would repair them, but I can't remember.

Looks like he'll be buying a new deck then. Wonder who will get roped into fitting that up. lol
