WOW - thats loud

Hi All

And a merry xmas to you all, I hope Santa brings you what you asked for....

I hope that someone can point me in the right place - I have the 'LOUD' problem with the stereo in my A3. She's a 1999 1.8T Sport done about 116k and without warning the volume goes from a moderate listening level to 11!!!! I know this is a problem with this type of stereo but i was wondering if there is a simple replacement unit i can get off the shelf.

Hi this is a common problem, and your only real way around it by not getting too technical is by getting a replacement Audi HU from Ebay (but no guaranatee it will have the same problem) or pick up an aftermarket one, which may work alot better....
