You can fit 5.25" in the front with a spacer and the back ones are 6.5".
for the front ones you need to make sure the speakers have a small mounting depth as theres not much room in there, the front speakers mount to the doorcards, so you wont really get much bass out of them!

You need one of my stealth subs, far bigger improvement than just upgrading the speakers. As Emmo says you'll get very little improvement in bass or even mid bass from any speakers mounted to a flimsy 4mm hardboard doorcard.
as someone who has done the s3 8L andymac sub with uprated door speaker i can highly recommend it
