Should be getting my new A4 TDI Quattro Special Ed in a couple of weeks
With phone prep in armrest and Bluetooth.
Can anyone tell me if my phone (Nokia N95) is fully compatible? (Phonebook /contacts and all that)
Do I need to buy an interface or something?

Also can someone tell be which SD cards works best, 2gb? Does it mater what brand they are??

Any help or advice much appreciated

Thanks

Keef

I can't get mine working, but others can - you need the nokia 810 contacts manager installing on the N95.

N95 will work with contacts download manager and version "Q" of the BT module. Most new cars seem to come fitted with version "Q" now.

Thanks for the info.
When my new car arrives how do i check if it has the "Q" version?
Also can you tell me where to get the 'contacts download manager'
Is this from the Nokia site?

Thanks again

You cant check unless you have VAG COm or the dealer checks for you.

It's module 77

The contacts manager is available from Nokia, look under the Nokia 810 car kit.

Have donloaded 810 contacts manager to my phone and managed to pair phone with rnse.
Should the rnse automatically see my contacts in the phonebook or do i have to do something to transfer them first??
Car is new so would expect it to have the latest version.

Thanks in advance.

I have a RNS-E and bluetooth module and it didint work with the N95

You need to make sure in the bluetooth setting the remote sim is enabled, this allows the contacts to be pulled from the SIM card.

If you dont see any on the RNS-E or DIS its not working. Try the 810 software but again this didnt work for me.

I sold the phone now and have a unlocked iphone which works fine.

My car is a 2006 A4 so might not have the Q version .

I wonder if the bluetooth mod could be firmware upgraded??
