I got the standard sound system in my 8P S3 and just wanted to know what my options are for changing them. I assume they 6.5" speakers like most VAG products?
The reason is, I replaced the speakers in my Golf4 with Sony 6.5" and it lost some of the sound characteristics. I used the autoloeads adaptor rings to fit it but it just seemed like the whole car just become more trebly and lost a lot of its mid. I had a 12" sub so the bass was there if needed but without the sub there was nothing.
So I dont want to go replacing speakers and then find out I am going a few steps back like before. So, speakers recommendations etc please.
