Hi, If i was to put a concert hu from a Bose equipt car into a non Bose car (or vice versa) would it work no problem, or would i have recode the hu with vagcom or tell it of the change somehow?
Yes as Steve says the Bose encoding is handled by the wiring loom on the car, so Bose & non Bose HU's are interchangeable. The only part programmed by VAGCOM is whether the HU displays Bose when you turn it on.
