Concert h/u has stoped working (erratic volume) in my S3, now people say dont replace it with another concert because the same thing will happen

so has anyone replaced theirs and what with, could you post some pics and prices plz

thanx

Best replacing it with an aftermarket one, it will vbe much more powerful and have a lot more features. If you get another concert one you might get the same problem again.
You will need a fascia adaptor and probably a iso lead depending on what standard stuff you have in it.

an aftermarket unit will certainly give more features
but it wont give any more noticeable power for this youll need to add an aftermarket amplifier

Tbh im not that bothered about the power per channel etc, just dont want a tacky looking hu but dont want to spend the earth

got the bose sub and the audi 6 changer so what changes need to be made?

You'll need an adapter to link to the rear amp/sub, an antenna amp adapter to power the aerial amp and a fascia adapter to fill either side of the HU.
All A3's have a sub, the stock non Bose unit has 1 speaker, the Bose system has a sub with 2 x 4" speakers. The Bose system is fully amplified, the non Bose system just has the rear speakers and sub aplified seperately, with the front speakers running off the HU.

if you want to try to keep with the theme of the standard unit
id look at becker and nakamichi units
both match very well and have excellant sound quality
