Just got a Tv tuner, Aerials and the navi unit :jump:

.......But im struggling with getting the wiring diagrams or getting plugs apart to see what pins each wire is on- can some one help???

Tv tuner Wiring harness (32 pins(Nav) 54 pins(tuner))

On the 32 pin plug side i have loose cables, where do these go, cables are as follows...

1)Red
2)Red - grey Stripe
3)Brown
4)Grey -White stripe
5)Grey- Red Stripe

Also another few questions.
1) Best location for the tuner (in a avant ?)
2) Best location for the aerials x 4 (in a avant ?)
3) Both aerials have red and black cables, do i have to source a ground and ign live for both these- if so where from in the car is best to steal them??

All the rest is straight forward, cheers for help in advance kris! +++

Not sure this is going to help at all or just confuse things more..?? But this is the location Audi stick the OEM stuff including aerials.

The wiring diagrams in Elsawin aren't always great and they are a pig to copy and post though so I've not tried with that. Though not all coloured wires you mention are on the diagram.

Thanks that helps for location!!

Cheers for all the replys on here and naviplus, so in answer to my own question, just incase people need help in future..... i think........

K-line = 1)Red
Positive = 2)Red - grey Stripe
ground = 3)Brown
Can L = 4)Grey -White stripe
Can H = 5)Grey- Red Stripe

Also another few questions.
1) Best location for the tuner (in a avant ?)

Left hand Storage door in Boot

2) Best location for the aerials x 4 (in a avant ?)

2 on left rear windwon and 2 on right rear window

3) Both aerials have red and black cables, do i have to source a ground and ign live for both these- if so where from in the car is best to steal them??

From the Bose unit (Speaker Amp)

And i take i just break into the wiring in my cars wiring harness or the small link harness between the 2, (behind the navi) to get all the feeds Ch Cl k-line and + - etc

just had a look at bose wiring, which cables are pos and neg?? and the aerials are too tall to point to the sky do they just stick accross the windows???

also the tuner has 2 green and 2 brown aerial inputs, i take it one is left and one is right?? which is which??

Hmmm, wasn't aware you can do that but think I'll have to give it a go tomorrow. Only have v409.1 but will let you know if i works as I'm not far away.

Job done, I'm impessed with that like. Let me know if you still need help with Vagcom.
