Hi. I'm now Alpine'd, but the 3 second hold down power button to switch it off is doing my nut in after only 2 days /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Is there a way to connect the the acc. feed such that it works like the old stereo did, i.e. remove key and power is cut, or was that CAN function? Just wondering if there's something I can do. Surely someone has come across this.

Ok, ok, I should be removing the face all the time /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Any hints appreciated. Thanks.

if you've bot sorted the problem yet, there are two power feeds... one is permanent and on is on the ignition. If you have them the wrong way round, you will have to turn if off manually, and it will loose its memory. They are the red and yellow wires with bullet connetions on my sony whihc can be reversed o sort this problem, but not sure about the alipne.
