New to this forum but have found it very informative, so much that i have just bought my first audi, an A4 avant s-line 2006. Anyway i love my music and was wondering if i could fit the Bose system myself. I have seen a load of parts on ebay but what exactly do i need. thanks

from what has been discussed dont think its worth it.

Ditto. It's a major rewiring job as almost none of the non Bose wiring can be used. For the amount of effort you could easily go aftermarket and get something that sounds half decent.
Why do you think there are loads of spare parts on ebay?

i just noticed on ebay someone was selling an ausi bose amp and someone else an audi bose subwoofer. Think i'll just sort out an aftermarket set-up. Haven't got the car yet so will wait and see what it sounds like first, thanks for the advice.

Most people sell them as they've ripped them out of their cars and replaced them with something decent.
