part numbers for RSNE FOR s4

Whats the difference in the units that have a C or a D at the end of the part numbers?

It says on NAV-plus forum, C is for a B6 and D is for a B7, but does it make much difference?

Would a D version work in my B6 S4?

From what I remember its just a software version difference. But if you upgrade to the latest software to enable TMC that doesn't matter.

The D version will definitely work in a B6 though.
 
Cheers pal, didnt think there should be a problem to fit either, but just checking, better safe than sorry!

Is the software upgrade your talking about what the Audi garages are supposed to be doing for free just now? (think I read about that on here somewhere or is it just for the factory-fits?)
