Concert with a mind of its own!!!

I need help here chaps. My A6 has a Concert unit that is only controllable (volume-wise) when it has warmed up. Otherwise moving the centre knob produces nothing or deafening. Any ideas? It sometimes goes to loud even when it HAS warmed up.

Mine started to do the same mate and theres no real fix for them but to get them fixed I think is very expensive.

You can pick them up 2nd hand on ebay for about £80 ish or get an after market HU like the Becker ones they are a perfect match Ive just fitted one and Im over the moon with it, looks very factory

Had exactly the same thing on my old A3 mate, must be a common fault. ****** annoying

Very common design fault, can't believe Audi got away with not having to do a recall.

Yep, mine's the same too

Though it's fine when it's warmed up usually.
