Anyone know how much space is behind/around the rear left hand cubby hole (the one that's carpeted inside) of the B6 avant?

I'm trying to find a good location for a phatnoise, and I'm wondering if that area can be modified. Our car doesn't have the rear cd-changer as we have the concert II with the in-dash 6 cd changer.

If anyone has pictures that would be brilliant!

Otherwise I've got to get in there and start dismantling just to investigate...

There is enough room for a Phatnoise.
I cut round with a Dremel and located my JLAudio amps on my B6 Avant.

Thanks timps. That looks very impressive, a real pro job.

I'll look into doing something similar for the phatnoise with the left hand cubby hole. Our right hand one is full of the bose tupperware.

There is another option, quite a lot of people have installed the Phatnoise on the little shelf in the glove box by removing the Phatnoise outer shroud and modifying the back of the glove box so it fits.

This would be an easer option, it was no benefit to me because I was doing a full install and needed somewhere for the amps.
