    rear seats

    a4 1.8t 190 sport 2003

Can somebody plz tell me how to remove the rear seat cushion??

And also im confused as to how the rear seats fold down, the manual seems to think they do but i just had a quick look in the dark of night and i can see no way for them???

I did post this in general but had no reply, and the reason for rear cushion removal is for cabling......so maybe relevant enough

If the seats are anything like the avant, there are two levers at the top of the seat backs that need to be turned to drop the seats.

The rear cushion is just clipped in. So you sort of push the front towards the back of the car and lift, one for near side, one for off side.
IIRC some saloons come with folding rears and some didn't, think it was an option, although god knows why. Why wouldn't you want the seats to fold down?
If they don't have the levers to release them on the top of the seat backs then I seem to remember it's quite tricky to remove them. Sorry I can't be more help but I've never had a car with non folding rears.
