I am looking for an option to allow me to plug in a small jack as a source for the stereo.

Basically I have an MP3 player (well.... a laptop ;o) )and want to use its output to play on the stereo. Can you get a lead to allow this? I certainly dont want to use those mince looking tape replica types..... yuk....

Any suggestions?

You need a Denison ICELink or similar. There is no AUX in on Audi HU's so you have to use the CD changer input but need some electronics to fool the HU that a changer is attached. Far better to buy a Phatbox which does everything and provides voice control over the tracks rather than fanny around plugging/unplugging a laptop evertime you get in the car and then having no control over the tracks unless you balance it on your knees. Not really an ideal tool for the job.

m8 i bought this one for my ipod http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3293&item=220025799147 works fine just select cd changer on headunit and select song on your mp3 player, does the job.
