thanks andy but this isnt anything like the avant.

the avant has 2 separate connectors each with about 6 to 8 wires - ill need to take a photo i think -

it may be like the a3/s3 bose sub??

thanks for your help

i managed to get a copy of the original wiring diagram for bose/radio for the b5 avant which shows all the connectors and wiring colours so i'm all sorted
