Hi all
I think i have found a way of mirroring the iPhone on the 2g mmi , providing you have a xcarlink installed.
Once the xcarlink multimedia has been installed in the car.
you need the following connections.
New TV LCD Monitor Cable Connector Leader To VGA Adapter For Apple iPad1 / iPad2 | eBay
Connect the the above lead to the lead below
1m VGA TO 3 RCA LEAD/CABLE FOR HD TV PC LAPTOP _ UK STOCK | eBay
then connect the RCA leads to the xcarlink and hopefully it will work.
This could be tested , by plugging the RCA leads into a Television / monitor there should be no reason why it wouldn't work on a TV / monitor and therefore it should work on the 2g mmi screen.
Any advice would be appreciated.
(the leads are cheap enough to buy ) to prove it would work on a TV,
didnt want to shell out for the xcarlink and find it would not work.
