Replaced Audi Concert with Sony MEX-BT2700

Hi All,

Recently replaced my Audi Concert with Sony MEX-BT2700 and must say very impressed, only problem
I have is intermitent signal with FM (Depends how you hold aerial and no MW).

I've recently purchased a PC5-52 Aerial adaptor, would this improve my signal for both MW/FM & where do i connect blue lead?

Any advice or pics would be most welcome.

The blue lead should be for the power antenna, it may power the aerial amplifier. If your headunit has a PANT (or power antenna) wire then connect to this, if not you could connect to a remote wire so the wire will be fed power when your ignition is on. Don't connect to a perm live cable or else it will be on all the time even when the car is parked.
 
blue lead is for amplifier remote lead it is a switched 12v live ... only live output is when headunit is on
blue with white stripe is power antennae ... is a switched ignition live

blue lead is only applicable if you want to turn on external amplifiers remotely
