Hello guys.
I have a Symphony2 HU (has built in 6 disc changer and tape deck) which is throwing up ERR3 and I believe that a disc is jammed in the changer. I can't be bothered ripping it apart partly down to not owning the radio code.
However I was considering buying an iPod converter kit as it seems you don't need to unplug the HU to fit the kit and I use my ipod alot more than I do CD's.
Quick search on eBay and I can get a Connects2 unit with harness for £45, however on closer inspection there seems to be no available kit for my HU.
Let me explain...
I believe that my HU is the mini ISO variant (2003 with tape deck instead of nav) and not quadlock. The mini ISO Connects2 kit states that it will not fit my car due to not having an external changer (although there is a video from an American company fitting one of these 'plug n play' iPod kits on a 2003 symphony2) and the Connects2 quadlock kit states that my HU is too old (2006 onwards).
Anyone fitted one of these to their Symphony2?
*I want to be able to charge my iPod so do not want to use the FM Connects kit.
