CD changer cable RNSE

Hi all,

I need the cable to link the RNSE Nav unit to CD changer, it's a MK1 unit with a glovebox mounted CD changer and my car is 2004 S4 cab. I saw one on e-bay but it's £30 is there an alternative ?

£30 isn't exactly expensive is it.

No it's only expensive, if it's the wrong component and you have to abort an installation or there is a cheaper version available elsewhere

Yes there are cheap versions, I made the mistake a few years back of buying a £15 cable from fleabay, installed it and the CD changer had squeeking and hissing when in use, basically the noise of the mechanism bled into the audio, so had to return with a better cable for around £30. So a cheap audio cable is sometimes a false economy.
