Best way to cut back of glovebox to fit Phatnoise?

Glove Box should come out simply by removing 5 bolts - certainly did on my A4 which I've been playing with this afternoon.

Would recommend removing it as it'll make it easier and safer to work on - you'll end up with a better job I reckon and probably let holes in your hands.

Good luck

Came out easy on my TT and S4 so I don't see why the A3 should be different.

you might want to mod the phatbox to fit the glove box. Ie remove it from its metal housing.

I would put it in the boot where nature intended!.. New glovebox is about £130 and there is not much room behind it on the A3.
Personal choice though..

Yeah, I've taken the big aluminium looking bit off but where the glovebox slopes down at the back there isn't enough room to fit what's left of the Phatnoise in!!

Is your Glovebox cut at the back Lees3?

The ones I have done are on the RH side of the GB, drop the GB and cut the back out the same size as the phatbox.

The phatbox site slighty proud, but the door closes perfectly
