I have a 2003 b6 with bose and im trying to fit an appradio.
I understand that to get power i should connect the red and yellow wires together however, the appradio can not be turned off so i cant do this.
My other option would be to tap off a fuse box feed, but i have no idea about this.
There are wires going to the oem stereo that send canbus signal is there no way i can use these.
Is there any other way to do this?

Use one of these I know you probably ain't got steering stalk but that lead will sort the ign power problem out :)

You havnt linked a specific lead there mate. Which one are you recommending?
Would this be connecting all the stereo connections or just steering wheel?

Ordered one. £34 as i need a harness anyway and its cheaper than the one i have now!

Sorry m8 I thought the link was the page to the stalk leads. Most Audi owners need a amplified iso patch lead anyway, its ok cutting into wires if you know what you're looking for, buying the stalk lead does the amplified iso and gives you the ign feed and stalk on your steering wheel back ( most wont have it ) for probably £10 quid more. IMO it's just safer if you're unsure.
