hi all,

I currently have 4 gauge wiring running in my car, but my new amps terminals are a bit small and only accept upto 8 gauge thick wiring. Can i just cut a bit of 8 gauge wiring, tape it to the 4 gauge end and put the other side in the terminal? Or do I have to use a block distributor?

No you need to use a proper distribution block. The current that can be drawn down a 4 gauge cable can be huge, it needs to be properly secured

I agree completely with Andy, do it properly.

does anyone know how to stiffen acoustic carpet, like starching it or something?
